Curious Critter
"Curious Critter" is an "Around The Island" quest that occurs during the Hugs & Hearts Festival. The quest will be available during the Hugs & Hearts event, which starts February 8 and ending February 21 annually. The player must have a 
Net, which requires having done the "Open the Nature Preserve" quest
Quest Description
"Catch the mysterious new critter around the 
Seaside Resort"
Quest Information
Chococat meets with the player in front of the large outdoors Hugs & Hearts Habitat. He asks the player to investigate the presence of a new critter in Seaside Resort by catching one. Once the player shows a 
Lovebug to Chococat, he, 
My Melody, and 
Badtz-maru discuss his find and say that it is time for the Hugs & Hearts Festival. Then, Chococat asks the player to place any Lovebugs they find during the festival into the Habitat.
Then, the player can interact with the Habitat to exchange Lovebugs for event furniture. The quest ends after the player leaves the menu.
For the remaining duration of the event, the player can then continue to place Lovebugs inside in exchange for more items. Only 1 Lovebug can be caught each day. The critters placed inside the Habitat form chrysalises and will be set to hatch from their chrysalises on February 21st.
