Deep Diving

"Deep Diving" is a "The Right Tools" quest that unlocks the crafting plan needed to make the Snorkel and dive underwater. Unlocking the quest requires reaching friendship level 6 with Kuromi and completing the "Finding Flippers" and "Re-Haunt the Spooky Swamp" quests.

Quest Description

"Learn how to dive by helping Kuromi recover her lost locket."

Quest Information

After speaking to Kuromi, the player will be asked to dive into the pond near the Witch's Hut to retrieve Kuromi's lost locket. Kuromi will temporarily load the player a Snorkel to allow them to dive. The player cannot leave the area with the gifted Snorkel.

After retrieving the lost locket and returning it to Kuromi, she will take the loaned Snorkel back. However, as thanks for helping her, she gives the Snorkel Crafting Plan to the player, allowing them to craft a Snorkel for their own use.

Once crafted, the Snorkel is always equipped and allows the player to dive into any body of water that is sufficiently deep.

Required Materials

In order to craft the Snorkel, you'll need the following items: 10 Rubber, 2 Sparks, and 2 Ingots . After finding all of the materials, the player can craft the Snorkel at Chococat's crafting table, near the Resort Gate in Seaside Resort.
