The Detective Hat is a clothing item that is part of the Detective Outfit collection. The Detective Hat is rewarded for completing 
Badtz-maru's friendship level 11 quest, "Fish Noir". After completing the quest, the Detective Hat may be purchased in 
Tuxedosam's Shop.
The Detective Hat can be customized using the 
Clothing Dye Station in Tuxedosam's Shop using Dye Pouches
