Lost Keepsake

"Lost Keepsake" is an "Around The Island" quest that is unlocked when the player has completed the quest "Curious Caverns" and picked up the Lost Doll in Merry Meadow.

Quest Description

"Find the owner of the mysterious doll you picked up."

Quest Information

The player can find the Lost Doll next to the Merry Meadows Fields Mailbox. Once the Lost Doll is picked up, the player can meet with Pompompurin and ask if the doll belongs to him. (It is possible for the player to find the other lost keepsakes without talking to Pompompurin first.) Pompompurin says that the dol is not his and that Chococat could have visited the Merry Meadow and left it behind.

The player then goes to meet Chococat and asks if the doll belonged to him. Chococat says that he did explore the Meadow, but did not lose anything. In order for him to investigate more about this doll, he asks for more clues. If the player has already retrieved the other two lost keepsakes, the dialogue continues from there.

If the player has not yet retrieved the other two keepsakes, the player must return to the Merry Meadow to find two more clues — a Miniature Egg and a Mailbag. The player can find the Miniature Egg next to a stump to by a field of flower plots. The player can find the Mailbag against a wall by a large tree to the east.

After handing the items to Chococat, he concludes that there is either a very well-equipped Nul or something new living on the island. The quest ends with Chococat suggesting to meet the player the next day to explore the Meadow together.
