Dailies

Collecting/Foraging

Hangyodon 3rd level swimming helps most since it allows you to swim and the same speed and walking does (the speed you walk/run at regularly increases if you don’t make an abrupt stop) Pekkle is great for wide areas with aren’t crowded or have lots of water (like Cloud Island and Icy Peak) Using him in areas like the Spooky Swamp and Cozy Islands / Moon Island / Hopscotch Islands and oddly enough — the Gemstone Mountain area, will possibly slow you down as you end up bumping into areas that are climbable (that you don’t need to climb during collecting) or hitting water and slowing WAY down Kuromi is another good option as her super balloon ability helps to fly over bodies of water Gemstone Mountain / Mount Hothead Spooky Swamp ( Apples esp -- getting over the maze walls quickly) Try to reduce the amount of times to return to areas Ex. if you don’t want/need extra materials, feel free to do all the My Melody gifting with your foraging companion of choice and collect with them as you gift! Note: taking a specific companion around with you seems to help with certain comic spawns — (character ⇒ character comic) Froggy Power - Hangyodon ( Spooky Swamp) Darkgrapeman - Kuromi ( Mount Hothead) Ichigoman Chronicles - My Melody ( Gemstone Mountain) Visit shops while gifting that character, collect visitor gifts + visit cooking spots while gifting if you are gifting with Hello Kitty! Craft before cooking if you want/need to craft Fizzy Ore → Fizzy Crystals I prefer to switch between gifting first and collecting first depending on how much time I have (gifting without any other tasks merged usually takes about 5-10min, and collecting with a max level Hangyodon & Pekkle takes me about 1hr total)

Gifting

ALWAYS gift highest level gifts to: Chococat — you will almost ALWAYS need Gizmos/ Mechanisms Kuromi — same for Light Stones / Sparks (until at least >10 lvl friendship with Big Challenges) Cinnamoroll — you’ll need them for My Melody and the Candy Cloud Machine Tuxedosam — at least until you finish your clothing collection Hello Kitty — Tofu will be esp useful after reaching max level for characters (and after collecting their hats): Tuxedosam, Pochacco, TOPHAT, Badtz-maru And their max cooking ability will be extremely helpful so get it asap Don’t make too many of each food gift before this point — you’ll be wasting a lot of ingredients My Melody — until max lvl of their Big Smiles ability Lower Priority Characters (for leveling up) Retsuko — their ability isn’t actually all that useful (at least not as of ver1.1) Cinnamoroll — their ability isn’t useful unless want them for collecting ingredients in cloud island (between Kiki/ Lala quests to unlock the areas after the first rainbow path is unlocked)

General Tips

DON’T RECYCLE: Coral Keys Glow Berries (you’ll need them for potions eventually — which might help remove the need to switch companions during collecting entirely!) Foods — if you end up with any base foods (a regular cake/soda/pizza/ice cream/etc) Keep them in a cabin if they’re cluttering your inventory These are perfect for visitor requirements to place in cabins! Ingredients/Materials (< 200 in qty before maxed Hello Kitty cooking & max Chococat crafting abilities, or < 400 in qty before then) You need as many as you can hold for crafting/cooking! Furniture — keep it and use it in cabins (you never know which you might need for visitor requirements) Don’t gift starfruits to Kiki to level them up at first level — you’ll need it at least 3 for the quest to come! Save your friendship bouquets and island bouquets until you have at least 3/3 of them I tend to use these on the weekends since it’s when I’ve got the most time and one full collection around the island takes about an hour with maxed character abilities That means you’ll use likely 1 every 3 weeks (since we get 1/week) Quickly exit the game as SOON as you can if you use the wrong item / gift the wrong character! If you exit before the character finishes thanking you or before the crafting/cooking message is gone - you should be able to revert right back to before that point ex. if you gift a friendship flower to the wrong character and exit the game as they’re thanking you, you’ll end up back at the resort with the flower in your inventory and the gifts completely filled for that character (it isn’t a glitch, the game just doesn’t seem to autosave until after the conversation bubbles are done)
